Q - How long does it take before my windows are replaced?
From signing off on your project, turnaround is usually around 4 - 5 weeks until your windows/doors are delivered so that we can replace them. Certain items may take longer than this (eg. textura powder coated aluminum), but we'll keep you up to date with timings along the way.
Q - How do payments work for my project?
Depending on the size of your repalcements project, payments are split into progress payments as such: - Jobs under $5k = 70% deposit & 30% on install - Jobs $5k-$10k = 30% deposit, 50% delivery and 20% installation - Jobs over $10k = 5% deposit, 25% on order, 50% delivery, 15% practical completion, 5% completion. (Note: this payment schedule meets the building regulations)
Q - Do I need to take out Domestic Building Insurance for my job?
For all jobs over $16k, we are required by law to take out DBI on your behalf. The price of this will be included in the job cost. For more information visit www.vba.vic.gov.au
Q - Do you offer supply only for window and doors?
We specialise in window and door replacement, but in curtain circumstances can provide a supply only service.
Q - Which area do you service?
We predominately look after Melbourne's CBD, Eastern & South Eastern suburbs including the Mornington Peninsula, Northern suburbs and West Gippsland.
