Make sure you are using a Licensed Builder
All Window Replacements are Registered Builders and Members of the Master Builders Association. You may or may not know that any building works over $5,000 must be carried out by a Registered Building Practitioner, any works over $16,000 require Home Warranty Insurance to be obtained. Not only does this cover any legal requirements but it protects YOU, the homeowner. If the works are carried out by an unlicensed person there can be severe repercussions including massive fines and voiding of your home insurance. It simply is not worth taking the risk, so please, whomever you choose, make sure they are a current Registered Building Practitioner.
